Programs:  Programs provide an opportunity to learn and to explore new ideas in a supportive and caring environment. Programs range in length from a few hours to a full day to a series of meetings over several weeks.  Please see "Upcoming Programs & Retreats" for the full list.

Retreats:  are a time apart from ordinary activities to listen and respond to God. Thematic retreats of varying lengths are available. All retreats include lodging in a private room, linens, and home-cooked meals.

• Thematic Retreats follow a specific theme with opportunities for reflection and optional sharing with others.
   

• Directed Weekends are silent and include a daily meeting with a spiritual director for about one-half hour. The remainder of the day is spent alone in prayer and reflection. Retreats begin Friday at 7pm; end Sunday at 1pm.
   

• Directed Week Long Retreats follow the same format as directed weekends but begin with a buffet at 6:00 pm, opening session at 7:30 pm; end with brunch at 10:30 am on the last day of the retreat.
   

• Guided Retreats are silent with a daily group presentation and the opportunity to meet with a spiritual director at least once during the week. The remainder of the time is spent alone in prayer and reflection. Guided Retreats begin with a buffet at 6:00 pm, opening session at 7:30 pm; end with brunch at 10:30 am on the last day of the retreat.
   

Personal Renewal  Subject to space availability
Personal Renewal is a time to “get away” from the pace of everyday life and be refreshed, physically, mentally, and spiritually. Individuals seeking self-directed time apart for solitude, rest, and prayer may schedule a private retreat for one or more nights based on availability.

• Private Retreats offer self-directed time apart for 24 hours or longer whenever rooms are available (meals provided). Contact the Center for availability.  Fees can be found at: http://retreatinmaine.com/private.htm
   

• Renewal Days offer a quiet day away from the busyness of life. Arrive anytime after 8:30 am. Use our walking trails, library, gazebo, labyrinth, outdoor pool and common rooms for your spiritual refreshment. Leave anytime before 4:00 pm. Lunch included. Fee: $15.00. Additional Offerings During your Stay

• Spiritual Direction is a meeting between two people--one wishing to explore spiritual issues and God's presence in his/her life, the other willing to listen and reflect back on what is shared. Spiritual Direction is available on a fee for service basis with a certified spiritual director of your choice.
